Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 46 | I get up at 4:45AM to do my cardio. I drink my preworkout shake (1 scoop of whey in milk). Then, about an hour later, (6AM) I go running. Well, today, I wasn't even 3 min. into my cardio, and my stomach started heaving. I had to stop running, and I ended up hurling. Was it the milk in the whey shake? Or was it that I didn't give it enough time to digest? This has happened to me even when I didn't do cardio, so I don't know why this is happening. Anyone else have an idea? MOP

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 161 | When i use to have go to work early in the morning i had the same problem bro. I read in a mag., i forget which one but i only get MD and Ironman so it had to be one of them, that drinking a lot of whey increases acidity in the body... so i just cut down on how much whey i was taking in and started looking at blends of proteins and switched real meals in for some of my shakes... now it doesnt matter what time of day i train or do cardio and i'm fine.

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 3 | I know that if I drink a shake before doing heavy squatting, it will result in me having to stop so that I don't "Squat until I puke" . I'd say maybe look into mixing your shake in water and throw some oats in that shake.Fred |

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 46 | Okay, everyone. I tried: shake in water tuna (why the hell did i try that? :p) 4 slices of turkey and none of these stayed down. I am thinking of getting some BCAAs, so those could come in handy besides putting them in my water bottle at school. ![]() MOP
