Default strech marks

god dammit. ive got bitch genetics for strech marks. my hips are covered in them, but i can live. but i just realized how bad theyre starting to get. my biceps are COVERED in them, running just short of the elbow. im even starting to get them on my goddamn forearms and chest. They started showing up in december or so, and ive only gained about 6-7 lbs and maybe 1/2" on teh gunz. frustrating.

now the question: i know you cant get rid of them without surgery, but will something like taking a week off completely from lifting to let my skin catch up or minimize streches or something like that help? thanks.

Nope, you're stuck with 'em. I've had them at my pec insertions and upper biceps for ages, all you can do is keep new ones from popping up. I use Vaseline lotion w/cocoa butter(comes in a brown container) after I shower...one pump goes on each arm/pec insertion and I haven't gotten any new ones at all. Regular use of the lotion will also help your existing ones fade, plus it makes your arms silky smooth.

I used the Palmers lotion that women use for stretch marks but it's really thick and kinda slimy feeling. The Vaseline stuff is really light and doesn't make me feel gross or reek of cocoa butter. Give it a shot, it's worked great for me and I'm definitely prone to getting them.

I used Java Lather or whatever its called, that soap they sell on Nutraplanet. It smells good but I don't know that it really did anything for me.

The soap and the flawless are two different products, though when java lather first came out it was touted as RPN's stretch mark removing product. I think now they just position java lather as like a body moisturizer. I've used the soap and it helped fade stretch marks a bit, but I mainly bought it to clear up some dry skin.

there are many products and creams in the market which will help you in minimization of these strech marks or there are some natural remedies also.

The best way to combat stretch marks is to prevent their formation. strech marks can be reduced by body lotion, malai, vitamin e, massage, etc.

Maybe if you treat the area everyday with cocoa butter, it will eventually lighten the stretch marks. Stretch marks are permanent, unfortunately.
