so I rolled a sled yesterday..

at about 70mph going up river. sled threw me off to one side and then started rolling from tip to tail. I slid about 50-60 ft, thank god I had a helmet on. helmet cracked and popped off after the first impact and I ended up with a broken nose, a chunk missing off the end, and am starting to get really really sore. couldve been alot worse so I'm just thankful I'm ok.

the sled was my buddies.... back frame under the seat is bent, all the lights (back & front) busted, hood busted, handlebars got bent to hell, and there are probably a whole list of other things wrong with it. luckily he has it insured so he's looking at it all today, but I shouldnt be out more than $500 or so (his deductible).

anyways, I'm still alive. morale of the story - Don't go 70mph on a snowmobile when its only you're fifth time out.

I was crankin' 95mph up river in fresh powder Friday, wasn't sure what I was gonna run into so I trusted God with the steering

Ouch tho man ... I've got thrown off them before and I know it hurts, what kind of helmet were you wearing? Doesn't matter much anyway, when it's 0 outside plastic likes to get brittle - FAST.

Good to hear your ok. Sleds are pretty dangerous, especialy to inexperienced riders. I havn't riden them much at all, so I am included in that inexperienced rider catagory.

I've almost been thrown a couple times.

the helmet was an hjc. I dont know if thats a good brand or not but it definitely took the impact before it busted. I'd probably still be out had my head hit the ground directly.

and trust me, you guys dont want to see a picture. with the brace & bandage off its pretty sick looking.

seeming to get more sore as the day goes on...time for some more ibuprofen.
