Putting it short, after doing my 14km walk that I had done, I ended up wasting time for my mum to catch me up by running up and down a 2.5km section of steps known simply as "The 1000 Steps". It's really impressively steep at 4km incline from sea level for every 1km of track you walk. While doing it on my third trip up I noticed a weird pumping and buzzing sound in my ears and back of my head... at a guess it was blood pressure starting to bubble over... as sad as it is to say I've never worked so hard in my cardio in my life - ever - and I've never experienced this... Is it ultra bad and should I have stopped instantly to cool down a bit? Seeing as I was approaching the top of the steps I decided I'd push through it... but now many hours after when I've decided I'll make that as part of my regular cardio work I'm asking myself if its something I should really avoid. It's not like I've never done cardio before... and I always work hard when doing it... but the amount running those steps drained me is awesomely impressive, and the feeling of completing it was just....:evil5: empowering ?

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 68 | I am not sure what happened... it might have been your blood pressure.. and it might have been that you got a little to hot.. you might call and speak to your doctor about it and see what they say... did you have any after effects of pushing through it... other than just being tired??? To be on the safe side.. I would talk to your doctor... let them know what you were doing, how long the buzzing and pumping lasted.. and just see what they have to say.. cant hurt.. and it is always best to be safe...
