O/T Really need some help here, ammonia inhalent..

Guys, You know in the first aid kits they have ammonia inhalents to wake people up? How much is too much, I mean about how much does it take to OD? I'm not going into details just would REALLY like to know like... now, ran searches didn't find anything to help

It isn't a drug, I would think it would be hard to OD on it. It is almost impossible to keep your nose next to it. You automaticly pull your head back...

I used to wake my friend up like that all the time. Nothing says wake up quite like an open bottle of amonia right under your nose. He got me with it a bunch of times too. It is not a very plesant way to be woken up, that's for sure..

Just some kids I know where getting into this kinda stuff, and wanted to know if you can OD on it. One of my friends come up to me with it (me not knowing what it was) here dude smell this he said, So I did and wow that stuff is strong and nasty smelling. I hated it, even tho I did get a little adrenaline rush or got a little hyper whatver from it, stil nasty shit.

Tiny bit of it opens the air passages and is good for lifting. Maybe a tsp. of a sniff or until you bleed out your nose.

Note: Inhaling high concentrations of ammonia can cause severe lung damage, but the small amount of ammonia inhaled from aromatic ammonia spirit inhalants has not been reported to cause toxicity. {06}
If aromatic ammonia spirit comes into contact with the eyes or skin, burns and irritation may occur. Burns in the eyes may lead to blindness. {05}

I never heard of Advil being used as one either. Some girls tried to get high off them when I was in.....damn.....maybe 7th grade? One bottle was divided between 2 girls. Can we say morons?
