So.... what ARE the effects of Marijuana in a training scenario?

With heavy usage (4+ times a week?)
Moderate usage (1-3 times a week)
Light usage (once every couple of weeks or so)

I'm beginning to think the effects are a lot more negative than most people would admit.

Versus beer I still think it'd be a better choice, but obviously the best choice would be abstinence.

well, moderate alcohol consumption may actually boost T levels, but prolonged use will def amp up the estrogen.

I've seen no neg sides with smoking pot, but i only smoke at MOST 2X per month.

No. Beer may be responsible for more accidents but is it actually worse for you than smoking something? I find that really hard to believe.

I think alchy is just a more dangerous substance period. Sure smoking is terrible for your lungs, but overall alcohol is putting empty cals in your body and also can kill you through a variety of different reasons. Not to mention you do stupid shit while drinking.

Let's go BEYOND the nutritional aspect....

It does a number on your liver, you can over dose from it, it gives you nasty hangovers that debilitate you, it can cause you to hurl, you can blackout and do very stupid things.....

but that's not even what's really bad about it.

Alcohol is ADDICTIVE, and Destroys homes families and lives.

When you see bums on the street... where does most of their money go?

Have you ever heard of a "stoned bar fight" ? As opposed to a drunked one?

Have you ever heard of pot addiction making someone a nasty stoner that no one wants to be around?

have you ever heard of pot destroying families?

I lost my father to alcohol and watched it first hand. Real alcoholism is a very very nasty thing. The very fact that alcohol is capable of doing what I've seen to someone is enough proof to me that it is not just harder of a drug than pot... but it is one of the HARDEST drugs available. I honestly have no idea how alcohol being legal is justifiable. I've seen it do too much harm.

Yeah bro, munchies are serious LOL but I don't think they'd be good for a bulk. When you have the munchies you basically eat whatever is around you.... and whatever's easiest. That means chips, cookies, left overs, etc... lol. I guess it depends on how bad you need those calories

I've found I don't get munchies as long as I eat before marijuana use and never during...

**NOT THAT I CURRENTLY USE MARIJUANA** nor do I condone it.

Moderate alcohol doeses also may increase nutrient partitioning. The key is to keep it at a beer and not beers (something I don't always do on the weekends)

I agree alcohol is worse, but this I've definitely seen. I've seen smart people throw their lives away into a minimum-wage living at home stupor because it's easier to be happy by being high all day than it is to go out and achieve your goals.

A man is facing felony drug distribution charges after an investigation that police said started after his brother used his MySpace Web page to boast of their homegrown marijuana crop and the frequency with which both men use marijuana, police said.

Michael Wayne Pilkerton, 20, of Suffolk was charged after police used an informant to make three marijuana purchases from him in recent months, police said. They said the investigation was launched in March after they learned about the MySpace page.

The page's creator, Jonathan Pilkerton, was not mentioned any further in a search warrant filed in Suffolk Circuit Court detailing the investigation last week.

I get what you're saying tho, but on the other hand how many police officers are gonna browse the internet looking for what people talk about online. That case was obviously a little diffrent (with him actually talking about growing/selling drugs)
