Default In the interest of my health, I am going to stop using any+all stimulants.

I have half a bottle of synephrine left, and that's it.

I'm not buying any more ephedrine, not buying amp, none of it. The only stim I'll use is the stimX sample I'm getting in the mail ( :nosthumbs )

This is in the interest of my own health and well being. I have been a VERY heavy coffee drinker for about TEN YEARS!!! Granted coffee has great antioxidant properties.... I'm addicted, and show all signs of drinking too much coffee.

Since school is out for a month, i'm going to try something. Beginning tomorrow morning ( :fingersxd ) I will drink regular black tea instead of coffee. And will drink green tea in the evenings.

Eventually once I have my self 'under control', I will switch to nothing but green tea, at which point I will consider myself over the addiction.

Now I just have to repeat to myself 100 times each day "I do not need stimulants to get out of bed, I do not need stimulants to lose weight".

I think that's a great idea!
Unfortunatly, one of the most overlooked fundamentals of lifting is health. Younger lifters especially don't realize that the better your overal health, the more energy you will have to exercise. Also, your body will produce hormones much more efficiently if you are healthy. There are no negetives to being healthy! Good move, IMO. Every change you make adds up.

:coffe: Good for you bro for taking control over that situation. Better to do it now rather than later when your age will have more of an impact on the negative side of using stims and drinking tons of coffee. I can empathize with you since I love coffee, but it doesn't love me and I've had to all but stop drinking it. I do get cravings for a cup at least once a week, but I'm finding it not too difficult to resist. Stay strong brutha and always do whats best for your health!

yup. I've decided that bodybuilding is more than just a sport of lifting weights to grow muscle.

It's a sport of time, determination, will power, intelligence, and health. As far as I'm concerned, it's the ultimate sport :p

It would be really nice to say "I'm not addicted to any drugs"

It's good to hear you are planning on switching over to the green tea. :nosthumbs

I drink two cups of coffee a day. I haven't had any problems myself with it and rarely have more than two cups unless I really am tired.

Sounds like a good plan. Two years ago I was downing coffee and pop like it was nothing. Realized it wasn't very healthy to drink that much caffiene and crap.

Tea has become my drink of choice. Between Erica and myself, there is easily 200-250 bags of tea around the kitchen. Whether it be hot or cold, I love it. Still have some coffee here and there but nothing like I used to. One full pot a day wasn't uncommon.

yeah i'm on complete abstinence from coffee unfortunately.

The game plan is black tea in the day and green tea in the evening, and so far it seems to be working. I admit I'm a little lethargic and cranky, but at least no headaches

Good to hear you cut out the pop, I haven't had pop in years.

Coffee is alright in moderation, that's the key though. :coffe:
