This is in the interest of my own health and well being. I have been a VERY heavy coffee drinker for about TEN YEARS!!! Granted coffee has great antioxidant properties.... I'm addicted, and show all signs of drinking too much coffee.

Since school is out for a month, i'm going to try something. Beginning tomorrow morning ( :fingersxd ) I will drink regular black tea instead of coffee. And will drink green tea in the evenings.

Eventually once I have my self 'under control', I will switch to nothing but green tea, at which point I will consider myself over the addiction.

Now I just have to repeat to myself 100 times each day "I do not need stimulants to get out of bed, I do not need stimulants to lose weight".
I want you to know that this is going to be very hard.

I did this and the withdrawl is powerful. I had both physical and phsycological symptoms. Just stick with it though. It takes about a weak to get used to life without stims. But once you do it, you'll feel REALLY REALLY good. I can't believe how great I felt once clearing my system of stims.

Yeah, so am I

But only for about a week or two. I'm doing a blitz cut before I test out Herbal Hypertrophic.

This is going to sound weird, but sometimes I like to purposefully get addicted to things just to see if I have the strength to pull away. It can be anything too from junk food, to stimulants, to media (TV/internet), alcohol... I've gotten addicted to just about everything aside from hardcore shit like heroin (and I don't plan to try it either). Sometimes it took months for me to finally pull away from an addiction, but looking back on it, it is really neat to know that now that strength translates into daily life. There is pretty much nothing that phases me now because of all the shit I willfully put myself through.

It is an interesting tool.

But I highly recommend a stimulant detox. You just don't know what you're missing. Yes, the first week "off" is complete shit and it's hard to get ANYTHING done. But after that, you feel so clear and clean it's amazing. I mean, you think this or that supp gives you clarity and focus... try detoxing and you'll see what REAL clarity and focus is like. :nosthumbs
