Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 216 | So I've been having some pretty bothersome forearm pain right on the inside of my left elbow. Its been getting progressively worse over the past 6 months or so. I took nearly a month off of serious training due to moving and such, but this past week back in the gym the pain was back and worse than ever. I decided to go talk to a doctor and have been officially diagnosed with golfers elbow(similar to tennis elbow but on the inside of the elbow instead of the outside). The Mayo Clinic: Golfer's Elbow Any of you guys have similar issues? I'm not allowed to do any heavy lifting until the pain is gone, so I have to take anti-inflammatories and ice it every day. Looks like I get to do lots of legs and cardio. Doh.

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 114 | Tien, my roomate got golfer's elbow.... from golf. He had pain for quite some time, and all he could do was take advil and other OTC pain meds. He doesn't lift, so it's not particularly aplicable... but all I can say is it has cleared up for him, and he doesn't see pain often. Have you tried wrapping it?

| IronMassoholic | I had this problem that was aggravated by almost anything I did with the affected arm. Something simple would twist and pull on the same area you are talking about. Anytime I squeezed with my left hand or supinated it, the thing would hurt, a lot!!!! I wore about a 1 1/2" wide adjustable nylon strap that I slipped up my forearm. It was snug and it kept it from flaring out. I wore it constantly for about 3 weeks and it !@#!@# went away. Now I wear it only when lifting or working in the yard. It hasn't felt this good in a year. |

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 216 | Mac I actually went to Dick's and bought one of those forearm strap things. I put it on just sitting in my apartment and it made the pain go away. I've been icing it and taking Aleve, and am gonna try training shoulders tonight. Dustin hows Chicago treating you?
