Default The effect of tea

Heard that Tea is very good for health...and I like it
But I also heard that Tea may let your body lose its iron if you drink it directly after meals, any info about that?

I drink green tea like twice a day, sometimes with meals, and I have never heard that you lose iron from it. What type of tea in particular are you talking about?

white tea is by far the most potent. Green tea, black tea, oolong tea, and white tea all come from the same plant, white tea is the tea in its baby form.

the others have some degree of fermentation

Red tea...Lipton most of the time...and somtimes I mix that with milk.

I believe that green tea has the highest amount of anti-oxidant agents and a little substance that is quite powerful, called polyphenols. That is why I choose to drink green tea myself.

I drink it for the same reason. High in Anti-Oxidants and low in caffeine (compared to coffee and those other teas)

i will begin to supplement with green tea pretty soon, ive heard nothing but good things about it. its cheap, effective and easy to use, what more could you want?

Tea may inhibit the absorption of iron ingested at the same time but it won't cause your body to lose iron.
