ON is ok .. you might want to look into Dymatize Elite Whey though .. better choice of flavors and mixes & tastes better in water than ON. You can get Dymatize Elite here: http://***************.com/product_i...roducts_id=320

But if you are on off days, I would take 1 shake and focus on consuming whole foods.

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 51 | The approach I take for fats in my diet works this way: First I build all the meals in my diet from foods with little or virtually no fat at all. ( chicken breast, lean fish and beef, skim milk, fruits and vegetables, oats, long grain rice, etc ) Then, I add in enough good fat from sources like fish oil, flax oil, peanuts and peanut butter, olive oil, etc. to make sure that I'm getting enough good fats. By doing this, I ensure that my diet is built around quality foods and good fat. Adding flax and fish oil wont help you significantly if you are already eating tons of saturated fat. However, if your main sources of fat in your diet come from these healthy choices, you will certainly benefit. - EME Quote:

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 51 | As for when to take Whey, I try to get a good source of protein every 2-3 hours during the day. I use Whey whenever it isn't convenient for me to eat protein from a solid food source. For me, that's primarily during work hours. I also include a whey shake in my program with my first meal of the day during the week and post workout when bulking. - EME

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 51 | 1-2 grams per pound of body weight is the general rule, not per pound of lbm. If you weigh 180 lbs, you generally want at least 180g Protein per day. This level of protein intake will help you maintain your muscle while cutting, and it will help you build muscle if you are trying to add mass. Depending on your goals, and how hard you are training, you may actually be able to effectively use up to 2 grams of protein per pound of bodyweight. I'm currently contest dieting, and I take in about 240 g of Protein per day at 167 lbs. - EME

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 51 | Yes, in general, that's a pretty good way to go when cutting, although there are tons of ways to build routines. The biggest key to success is consistency. Developing a sound nutrition and training plan, and staying with it, day after day, is what will produce the best results. The exact number of reps per set and the particular exercises you do really is secondary to sticking to your plan over the long haul. - EME Quote:
