1/2 - 1 cup of water into pan.
Add 1/2 - 1 cup of dry oats to pan when watter is boiling.
Turn down the heat and wait till it's cooked.

I try to get as much of my protein from whole foods as possible, but whey protein is good first thing in the morning, pre-w/o, and especially post-w/o. When you take it post-w/o mix it with water so it is absorbed quicker, and don't forget to add some carb source. Normally I try to eat a real meal about 1-1.5 hours before I workout, but if this isn't possible for you take the whey and mix it with something like oats and you should be fine. Whey really isn't a great protein to take at night because it absorbs so quickly, so if you want to take it at night mix it with skin milk to slow down the digestion. Just my $.02.

And i really need it quick.
Positive. For example a 5lb tub of Whey cost's $25 US +5 shipping so $30 US by the time you pay tax and exchange you get it for around $40-42 CDN. The cheapest shop's here sell the same for $70 and GNC is close to $100 even with the gold card.

Cottage cheese or whey with milk at night

That looks about right. As far as regular meal protein some good sources are eggs, tuna, chicken, turkey, red meat, cottage cheese.

After you pay tax and shipping the same Whey that I get for $42 is Total Can$57.72. May not seem like much but buy a few times and it adds up.

That's all King charges. And I forgot to add that the Popeyes website is much cheaper then the stores here in Edmonton. The Champion Whey I bought from King for $25 US is $65 plus tax at store level.
