I ran out of whey the other day, and my dad had to go get stuff from Trader Joe's, and he bought some more whey for me. It's generic, from Trader Joe's, and I was wondering if it would be as good as On's. It has less protein per scoop than On's, but I'm not sure how good it will be. The only thing that might cause problems is that it has fructose in it. Thanks in advance.

on a side note, it sorta smells like Ovaltine. it says it's 55% whey protein. (dry weight)

Well it only 17 grams a protein and the main ingredient is whey concentrate. I wouldn't get that again but since you got it just finish it. How many lbs is it anyway?

it's 17 scoops. (not sure how many lbs. that is...) i have two tubs of it. what's so bad about whey concentrate, btw?

You should get by with the protein you have, just use more scoops to get your protein needs. For the future though don't buy this kind of protein. Make sure you get a good whey blend or even better 100% whey isolate.

yeah, this is only temporary. the reason my dad bought it is because i didn't go shopping with him, so he didn't know what kind of protein to get. i'll just finish it off and then buy some more On's.
