Recipes: 2 Rep Power: 96 | All teens seem to be dependent on supplements now and not realizing why they aren't getting gains. Well they think it's their supplements or training, but it is really their diet. Remember always have a good diet layed out that is simple and easy to stick with to get you past your goals. #1: Protein Many teens can't get enough protein in their diet because they got school and time is low. Now most people think protein is not a neccesity, but that is not true. It is a major neccesity, most high protein guys have a hard time eating 500 grams of protein from whole foods and the guys who don't get enough need more through protein supplements. Just throw a scoop or two in some milk and chug, it's cheap considing everything some waste their money on. At least a few scoops a day training or not training. #2: Multivitamin Vitamins and minerals are very important in a supplement plan. You may lack the needs because you don't get enough vegetables in your diet. But if you do get all the veggies you need then you should still take a multivitamin. You need the vitamins to help with recovery especially during bodybuilding. Find a store brand that is cheap and is pretty equal to a centrum multivitamin. Take 2-3 of those a day spread out through the day. #3: Fish/Flax Oils You need omega fatty acids in your diet just for some good fats. Fish oils can be dangerous due to mercury poisoning found in fish. So be careful, that's why you may want to use flax seed oil. These products are very cheap and beneficial with lots of things, losing weights, gaining weight, etc. Get about 3-5 grams from these a day (3-5 caps). That is all you need with a good diet and and a good training schedule and your set. Let you newbie gains fly and then when you start to slow down you will need to improve diet and then maybe supplements later on. Good luck. ![]() |
