Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 10 | Topic ^ I always worried about "over-training", until i actually looked at how hard i was working in the gym, and discovered how much harder i could work at. I have been testing my limits the past weeks, and im amazed at how hard the body can actually work, and how powerfull the mind is at determining how hard you think you can work before you "over-train"... I have now adopted this 110% effort at everything i do, and the results are showing. How many of you actually give it 110% in the gym ?? my bet is you have the best results, than those that go easy and worry about over-training.... Im not saying go workout for 10 hours straight, im saying each rep you do, give it EVERYTHING, don't let your mind beat you... Lance Armstrong didn't become the amazing machine he is because of "talent" he got there because he worked his damn ASS OF !! Nothing is easy, the harder you make it the better results you achieve. Don't let your mind decide how hard you can work, your body will tell you when your working to hard, and no a bit of stress and soreness isn't that sign. Test your barriers ![]()

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 71 | I lift with as much intensisty as I can, but I'm always conscience of how my body is feeling. I lift by myself and the people in my gym are probably the last I'd want to spot me. So I always have to know if I can actually get that extra rep out or if I'm going to fail.

| Mushroom Cloud Laying.... | I lift like I am about to explode. I don't do too many sets (bicep/tricep days equal no more than 20 sets combined). I am more efficient than to use volume.

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 47 | I sometimes half-ass my chest workouts because I hate working chest, but when I hit deads or squats, for the most part, I give it my all. The real question: Do you put as much intensity in your cardio as you do your lifting? The answer for me would be: Hell no. ![]() MOP

| IMPC Contestant | I try to keep my workouts borderline barfing. Don't want to toss up those nutrients. I find a great way to make sure I hammer my body is that if I don't increase 5lbs on compound, and 2-3 reps on isolation to hammer that specific exercise with dropsets. For instance, my bicep workout today blew (as usual) so I hammered by biceps with alternating db curls until I couldn't get the 15s up for 6 reps! Granted, this isn't always the best for development (doing this everyweek would just be insane) once a month is a great idea.
