Default Ever had a bad training day?

Today I woke up, ate, and waited one hour. My meal was a double scoop protein shake + banana + 1 cup oats. After my hour wait, I went down into my home gym (no school, thanks you christopher columbus) and started to get warmed up. I noticed while I was warming up although the heavy metal was blaring, my muscles felt lethargic. I did my first set (8 reps) and my 2nd set (6 reps) and nearly failed on my second set, I was very close. One more rep would have been failure. The week before I had failed to up the weight by 5 lbs (I did 150x3 when I was going for 150x4) so I redid the same weights and sets (110x8, 135x6, 150x3-aiming for 4). I almost failed on the 135!! After that I did the 150 for only 2 reps! I was so pissed. So I dropped the weight to 140 and could only pump out 3 reps! I quickly quit the workout.

Now once I'm done with soccer and eating w/ my dad, I'm gonna workout (but this time with a friend). My muscles (even my legs, which I haven't worked out - even no soccer practice - since thursday) are just tired feeling. I mean it's tired like it's a lazy day and all I want to do is sleep. I felt great yesterday, but just feel worn out today... I haven't lifted or done anything strenous since friday...

Anyone got any tips to help me get out of this? I'm gonna pop 4 caps of Power Jolt before my workout and hope that that helps... Anyone ever feel like this?

Also on a related note, does anyone ever have a day where they suck at lifting (you either go below or directly at what you did last week)? What do you do then?

Thanks Peaked, good read. Makes sense. I just really hate bad workouts.. Makes me feel like that whole week of lame food was wasted! Then again, I did have a very intense (but semi-disapointing) workout last week. Just, chest/back is usually my best day, I guess I had my hopes too high.

If I go to our brother gym I have terrible workouts. I've injured myself almost everytime I've been there. I only go there because they have a cage and we don't. Some of the injuries I've gotten while there:

-Pulled my right trap
-Strained my ankle
-Hurt my RC
-Strained my left bicep

Probably some more that I've blacked out.
