Teen Bodybuilding Discuss dairy products in the For People of All Types forums; can someone explain to me whats wrong with dairy, as so in dc training, because i drink a gallon of milk every couple days...

can someone explain to me whats wrong with dairy, as so in dc training, because i drink a gallon of milk every couple days

From a discussion Khan and I had on the subject, lactose is more of a carb than anything. But a really bad carb, dosen't do anything. If you're already getting another carb source, then lactose is stored. Thus, useless.

correct me if I'm wrong.

same here but I try not to drink to much milk ... there is a mountain of sugars in milk.. I used to have the stats on it. If / when I am trying to bulk I do increase the amount of milk I drink though.

good/bad/indifferent ..that is my view on milk :o

I used to drink milk alot in the past but I realized that if I was trying to get extra protein from milk then I should have just been eating more beef/chicken, etc. Getting rid of the lactose makes quite a difference, especially if you want to keep lean or reduce bodyfat.
