Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 10 | Just let you all know ive started cutting for a few reasons. I wanna get to around 8-10% body fat so i can bulk, and still be lean by summer. I have also never been there within 4 years. And i want to see myself like that, because trust me, at age 13 i was doing little athletics and i was so fit, then i found the lolly store and money and it went downhill. Now im not really fat, but i am sitting up around 20-25% bf. So i really want to see what i look like after a proper cut, so far every cut i have failed :/ when i was a noob, i was only eating vegetables and i was dieing of no energy, the next was because i started eating bad foods again, and thought i would burn it off if i did cardio later (never ended up doing it) And basically over these 4 years i have never been able to successfully cut, and i feel i need to have atleast 1 success at doing it since im going to be doing it alot over my life unless i can stay lean. Couple of questions, what should i eat before and after long cardio (30-45) minutes, and also what foods should i chop out, and how should i change my diet. I remember diabolic stopped drinking milk, and put water in his shakes etc. Im also going to go make some protein bars, so im sure the doc you can help me with this one Thanks guys i appreciate it

| Nublarsaurusrex | IMO the most important thing to do is to cut out prosessed foods which are generally loaded simple carbs like white breads ect. Eat tons of veggies cuz they are high in fibre, and when ur eating carbs stick to things like whole wheat bread ect and sweet potatos. eat less more often throughout the day 6+ meals. Im not a supporter of keto diets but who knows it might work for you, you can also try carb cycling. IMO its not nessesary to cut out milk as long as your drinking skim. I also like 1 cheat day a week. Just my 2 cents, although u prolly knew all of that already ![]() |

Your body needs alot of quality calories to grow. BobThePotato has a sound eating plan with 6 smaller meals consisting of lean proteins, complex carbs and good fats. You need to remember that the more muscle you have, the more calories you burn in a day. So, if you do a strict diet now, whithout having a solid base of lean body mass, your metabolism may be even more sluggish and you will find it difficult to stay lean and not store bf. I suggest you concentrate on your diet and eating well balanced meals 6 times/day and start on a well structured weight training program. This will help build the muslce necessary to ramp up your metabolism and make it easier to burn bf. |

Anyway, don't get me wrong. I didn't mean to just "eat big" I meant give your body quality food every three hours. You'll have to find what works best for you. If you gain more bf then just decrease your calories a bit and bump up the cardio. Just eating 6 times/day will ramp up your metabolism. | |

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 0 | How about a 14 year old? I recon I got some good muscles under all this, dare I say it, fat. I could probably do with loosing a few kg. I've already been trying to eat healthy and not eat everything possible and it seems that I have lost about 3 kg. I would really want to see whats under all this. I've been fat most of my short life. Not as big as a little kid but from about 10 years old and onwards it just happened. Seems that I have thined out over the last year or so (uncles and aunties say they wouldn't reconise me on the street ) but not actually lost any weight.I'm not big boy fat as I used to be I'm sort of on the verge and I dont get that sort of big guy authority that I used to get. It's not that I'm not happy with my body its just I wanna make it better. Last edited by van_halla : 06-13-2005 at 10:03 AM. |
