Anyone have a deep tissue massage before?

Are these expensive and do they feel good? I heard that they are great for recovery.

I've had like three sessions of this a little while ago when I use to play footy ( Aussies Rules) Feels damn good once you get into it but it's kinda awkward at the start just relax, cost like 130$ per session here.

It's one of the greatest things ever, and as far as the price thing I have a little trick for ya, just make friends with some ladies that are in college for massage therapy because most of them have to give massages as homework and they can't charge you :bigthumbu

I was getting deep tissue massage for quite some time as I had injured my Erector Spinae (Poor DL form + ignoring pain = injury). It was quite beneficial in my recovery. They are expensive, but I think mine got covered under health insurance or some dealy like that

Do what Gappa said.. or have a long time friend who used to do it for a living.. and get them for free...
