Default Alittle Help Please =)

Okay Guys im always posting for help, but never get to help out cuz i dont visit site often and when i know sometin usually someone else answers but im here again n need a lil advice n such please....

Okay First.... I have no clue whats going on im so confused.... I got to the Local YMCA to work out.... well their weight bench bar i thought was 45lbs its a standard steel bar someone at the YMCA told me it was 25lbs anyone who uses the YMCA could ya help me figure it out??

Second..... 3-4 weeks ago i had trouble pushing 225lbs up (Bench) well last week i did 275/or/305 (depending which the bar weights) All ive done is push ups 10-20 a night for 2 weeks straight would that push it up that far??
Im 15 and 340lbs by the way

Third..... This Week On monday after 5 days of pure rest after pushing up 275/305 i went down to the ymca with a friend to show em cuz i was happyier than crap... I couldnt push it up i didnt feel sore and ive been told off and on get atleast 4-5 days rest for ur muscles to heal so i did... i couldnt push it off my chest.... Im considered a (Dam* Lier, a BullSh**er,)
cuz i told em i could it makes me mad.. i put it up was so happy then i couldnt push it up....... should i have waited more i mean 3 people saw me push it up... a regular at the ymca like me and 2 of my other friends (And the guys who called me a liar are alwasy the one who need to be on top)

So the 3 main questions are
1. Does the YMCA Standard steel bar weight 25/45?
2. Can Doing Push ups Increase Bench By over 40lbs in 2 weeks?
3. Should i have waited more or what??

The thing on the 275/305 bench was i pushed it up as it felt easy as crap... 1 fluid motion but when i went back i couldnt get it off my chest

And i Also have a probly with Motivation.... I need to lose weight im overly overweight 15 yr old 6'2'' 340lbs is bad i have no problem with how i look except for maybe man boobs but it dont bother me much cuz im a guy who could care less...

Well are you doing the raw benchpress or the one thats fixed?

Because the fixed one the bar weighs 15 and the raw one is 45.

it sounds to me like there are lurking variables.

sleep, food intake, and hydration can effect lifts hugely. Especially at your size.

diet is the biggest thing to affect your lifts i find.. in my personal experiance anyways. As for bar weight, i know that my 7" weighs 20 pounds, im not sure about the ymca's though. Mine is just a standard 7 foot bar. Hope that helps... otherwise id say just ask the gym rep at the Y what the weight of it is.
