Work out partners.

I don't know about you guys, but I think I have one of the best work out partners in the world. Sholiz is great. It's hard to explain how I feel ...But it's best for me to leave my town behind, to help my little brother, my neice, and my nephew. I am from now on pushing forward. I want to enroll in the Marines in two years time... To spare my neice, nephew, and brother the shit I had to go through. From now on I want Sholiz to beat my ass when I can't lift it, untill I can. From now on I want him to beat my ass if I can't reach my reps, untill I can. From now on I want him to whoop my ass if I stop short when I have more in me. I want to be bigger, faster, stronger. I want him to help me, i want him to push me more, each and everyday. I will accomplish this goal... I WILL NOT FAIL. I will do this for my loved ones, it's the best for them. So from now on...Pain will not be a restraint, it will be a push forward!

Starting today, I change my life, i change my goals, I change my mind set, for the rest of my life. I would like to thank Sholiz and the rest of you guys who are helping me.

I can tell you over the years I've had quite a few freinds join up. All the branches. From my experience I will tell you this. The armed services offer everything and anything that you could imagine, from cook to pilot to Doctor. If you make the sacrifice's and have the goals there truly isn't anything you cannot do using what the service offers. The only key and this is the big one you have to take advantage of it. A GI Bill isn't worth the paper its printed on if you do not use it. You sound pretty focused good.

I spent seven years in the military and had a great time and accomplished virtually all of my goals. There are a lot ( probabaly most) of people who join the military and then sort of "live for the moment" and spend all of their free time partying or goofing off and when they are discharged, they have little to show for it. The military has a lot to offer. I earned 3 college degrees while I was in ( AA, BS and a Masters) and my total out of pocket cost was about 500.00. But.....after work, when just about everyone else was off having fun, fishing, drinking, etc. my butt was in a college seat at least 3 nights a week and often all day on weekends. I saved my money and also worked hard on my lifting. My advise is to set some goals before you go in and then work hard to achieve them-dont try to hard to be "one of the guys" if you know what I mean-do your own thing on your off time.

I got the best workout partner in the world. My workout partner is only 5'4, a scrawny 130, only benches 115, deadlifts 225, and she is the love of my life. My girlfriend and I have been lifting together since October of last year and although we argue a lot in the gym because we both think we know it all, she is still the best ever.
