Where to purchase an elliptical or recumbant bike?

Do any of you know an inexpensive place to buy one? Dude some of the ellipticals are priced at 1500 and they look mediocre.

What'd you end up getting? I trust you to buy quality (even if it's cheap) and your selection won't fall apart after a month...

(Well, for us, that would be a month -- 30 uses. For some of the people buying one this week as a New Year's exercise plan, those 30 uses might just get them through to December 31 next year!)

Image 8.25 Elliptical Machine - Wal-Mart

It looks pretty solid, but has a lot of mixed reviews. I'm hoping the silent majority of consumers didn't have it break in 4 months. But even if it breaks in 4 months it will have served it's purpose. I just need something to help me build up some stamina and confidence so I can rip up the weight room again.

And remember -- there are always spare parts in the box. Probably a few... LOL!

You should put up a YouTube video of you assembling the damn thing.

I did my first 10 minutes on the elliptical tonight and started my new year's resolution. Yes, I'm a resolutionist. I weighed in at 287lbs

my goal is to be 240lbs by may for my graduation.
