| IronMass Donator | I am working my ass off to be a successful forex currency trader. Plan B is I'm trying to open a retail shop (top secret). If either fail, I'm still a hell of a unix admin. Chris |

| Mushroom Cloud Laying.... | Well, I would like to become a natural pro eventually but it has been on the back burner for sometime. I want to be happy, find a great woman to settle down with, and do good at whatever I'm trying.

| Pro Stature | I forgot the most important... This next school year... my roommate and I have a goal of having an entire sorority sleep in our room. No more than 2 girls per night. I think it may be possible if my roommate doesn't scare them. |

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 6 | I believe if you make a long-term goal, you'll end up with a whole bunch of short-term ones leading to that one big goal. If you don't make goals, you'll end up nowhere in life, just chugging on towards a path of nothingness. I want to become a doctor and open up a clinic. I want to open up a recreation centre where young adults and children can go without the negative influence, where they can learn of how important and special they really are.

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 128 | ooooo, goals, my favorite btw, I'm 19 years old.btw, great goals everybody, it's wonderful to see you guys know what you want to accomplish. ![]() 1)Transfer to San Francisco State University in a year and get a bachelors in Kinesiology, with a minor in music. Eventually get a doctorate in relation to sports medicine, I don't think I want to be a general practitioner - at least not right now. I have time to decide ![]() 2)A proposed idea is to see if I can wiggle my way into an internship with one of the San Francisco sports teams. I have worked a little in physical therapy and I could get some good references, and in my remaining year at the local junior college, I'm going to see if I can volunteer with the college's sports teams PT department and get a little more experience (and more references) under my belt. If I was able to get my way into a major SF sports team, that would be an excellent start to my goals. I need more options, still working those out. 3)Eventually open up my own Physical Therapy business, perhaps with a gym attached to it where I could offer personal training. As an incentive to join the gym, members would recieve a discount on injury rehab, whether it occured in my gym or not. If I make the focus of the business physical therapy, that not only opens up doors for government grants, but also makes it more of a personable business. This way I could establish my repuation in the community as a friendly, intelligent helper and perhaps get more people to join my gym. 4)With the capital that I recieve from these previous goals, I would like to open up small business that don't have to do with fitness, but still benefit both the community and my bank account. A music school is one option, as is a regular school tutoring center. This would of course be much later in life, perhaps even my 40's, but it's still something that would be fun to do. 5)Continue to pursue musical education and to continue to develop creative and technical abilities in regards to music. Continue to write as many songs as I can and play as many instruments as I can get my hands on. Collaborate with my girlfriend and incorporate her remarkable singing into my music. 6)Get my music heard. 7)Never stop reading. Not only does it make me smarter, but if I want to be quick witted when I'm 80 I need to keep my brain active and stimulated! 8)Keep writing as much as possible. Write about anything and everything, dreams, reality, ideas, goals, lyrics, poems, write write write. 9)Treat my girlfriend like a queen. Grow old with her and never lose the love, the kind of love where you take a walk together at 75 and still hold hands. 10)Maintain a strong kinship with my family and always work to make it stronger. 11)Keep in touch with all of my close friends, even if it's just a simple phone call. 12)Never have to struggle to pay bills. Be able to provide my family with what they deserve and give them the opportunities that my parents were able to give me. 13)Work hard and love every minute of it. 14)Never lose my sense of humour! Ok, ok, I could go on for much longer but I covered all the major ones so I think I'm good to go ![]() oh yeah... 15)Stay fit and healthy well into old age ![]() Last edited by davtown : 07-10-2006 at 02:28 AM. |

![]() To try and generalize it, I play a lot of rock, jazz, blues, acoustic, and I have a tinge of flamenco influence in my playing. Also, I'm starting classical Indian music school tomorrow evening, I can't wait.... http://www.aacm.org I also play my own style which is a mush of everything I listen to and play. I like writing songs a lot and hopefully I will have music of my own to share within 6 months or so. | |
