That's a lot of weight, the new record is 1007, but then again people have a lot of help when lifting including bench shirts, and other pharmaceticals.

That can't be true? Half the people in the bodybuilding.com teen forum bench twice that!

Well E-Benches are sanctioned through the various powerlifiting associations because they are too scared of the 15 year olds that weigh 123 that bench 1500. They are also afraid they are going to hurt the spotters as they rep the weight so fast.

Bench shirts got out of hand. They were really meant for safety reasons. RAW bench record is 700 something.

Amazing none the less, old school was always true, clean and did it for the sport.
