Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 176 | I wonder if those cattle were being injected with massive amounts of steroids in addition to the disorder. I have read that they inject cattle with so much gear that they also have to inject them with antibiotics to prevent them from getting infections due to the steroids lowering their immune system. |

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 44 | Myostatin blockers I thought was the culprit for the cattle since they didn't really care about long term heart issues.

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 176 | I am not sure they have myostatin blockers yet.... If they did, they would probably have a human form by now, and Mr. Olympia would weight around the 450lb mark...lol |

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 44 | I was under the impression they had them but they were not selective which is why they weren't human tested yet but I could be very wrong. Those blockers aren't any good if your heart increases at the same rate.

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 128 | Has anybody read this letter from BALCO regarding Flex Wheeler and myostatin? (yeah, BALCO, the same company involved in the baseball steroid scandals) It's from 1998 and it says that they ran tests on Flex Wheeler and he had mutated myostatin genes.... specifically from the letter, "Flex had the rarest form of myostatin mutation at the "exon 2" position on the gene. This simply means Flex has a much larger number of muscle fibers compared to the other subjects or the normal population". It also states that he was in excellent health. It's a short read and pretty interesting, check it out. Flex Wheeler and the Myostatin Gene |

| Mushroom Cloud Laying.... | Yes, I read that years ago. Balco was instrumental in the testing of IFBB professionals around 1998. They tried really hard to help a lot of professionals that had major problems with their body. unfortunately a lot of them didn't listen. I don't know if i believe the myostatin gene theory of flex or not, but it isn't hard to believe it. His muscles were some of the best ever. Such small joints and such huge muscle bellies.
