Default PERSONAL TRAINING study materials....WILL YOU HELP A BROTHER OUT!

Hey guys, I am looking to get a job here in Mahattan and I want to get my personal training cert from an accredited certification. My only problem is that I don't have any incoming source of money to pay for materials, testing, etc. I know most certs are just a foot in the door and that experience is the best teacher, but I have been training people for years uncertified and getting them great results. This new gym is opening up soon and the bills are stacking up as well as the student loans. WOULD ANYONE HERE BE WILLING TO DONATE ANY RECENT STUDY MATERIALS THEY HAVE GOTTEN? IF NOT DONATE IS THERE A CHANCE OF SETTLING FOR A SMALL FEE? Again remember I am coming here because I just do not have the money for everything that is required and do not want some BS cert.

I am looking for any NBFE accredited certification, pretty much any of the big name certs such as.... (the top four being the ones I am most looking after)

ACE
ISSA
NSCA
NASM
IFPA
AFPA
AFTA
NCSF
ACSM

Have you contacted the gym to inquire about getting a job there? Some gyms will hire you then help you with the costs of getting the certification.

Actually no I have not, they are waiting for me to send in my resume, and I am looking for help with that as well. I might start a new thread but why clutter things up, does anyone know of a free site that can show you the idiots way to a professional looking resume. I know that you are supposed to include things like extra curricular activities and embellishment is given (lying) but how much? Thanks guys.

Do you have Microsoft Word? It has really good templates built into it and even a wizard to walk you through the process of making it. It asks for your work history , skills, education, etc then builds it into a professional looking resume with the template you chose.

Really? Sh#t! Yes I do have Word (which I'm proud I actually learned to download it!) I will check this out tomorrow when I wake up, thank you so much. I even looked up a few things from GOOGLE to help out. I maybe paranoid but I really want the job at the gym and want them to choose me. They have all positions open and are just awaiting my resume. I NEED this job, bills are just to high and I need to pull more weight around the house!
