Default One of the best things I ever learned

wanted to start a log of the one most important things you have learned about, since you have been gripping, bending, pinching, strongman, boddybuilding, powerlifting etc.

Lets not remark about each others posts, just state our lesson and move on.
I would love to see all members participate even those who don't usually post.

Lets make this the longest thread ever, filled with all the lessons we have learned cumulatively.

Please all post

ill start
every person is different. some can look at weights and get stronger while others take years to reach that level. If it takes me 5 years to get to the level someone else reaches in a year then so be it. The end result is we both still arrived at our destination. Try out as many routines, exercises set and rep shemes, etc. as possible and see what takes you in a positive direction toward your goal. Give them each a good four week evaluation period. We all have God given potential.. Keep trying until YOU find the keys that unlocks that potential !!

Intensity and researching training methods and nutrition are the fundamental keys to getting the results you want.

Lifting all the time doesnt get you stronger. Following a good set routine and good nutrition gets you stronger. Yes, when I was younger I was the ones doing bicep curls everyday or twice or more everyday to get those bigger arms. Did I gain anything.. Nope just got sore arms.

A bodybuilder can make a 30 minute meal in 10 minutes, and read the new Muscular Development while making it.

Diet is the most underrated aspect of bodybuilding. So is training, rest, water, and supplementation.

In Bodybulding, just as everything else in life, BALANCE is a must. you need to balance your diet, training, sleep, supplements, and other activities to grow.

If I write down everything I learned to be the best, I would have to write it in 20-paragraphs. I have learned so many new things and they're all great and some of the best information ever. My suggestion is to do what I did to find it out and read!

I never understood the importance of diet until I got into BB. I use to lift chest arms and shoulders EVERYDAY and eat horrible and wondered why I never grew.

I have learned tons of stuff, but here is something not everyone talks about... Different bodyparts respond better to different rep ranges.... for example legs, forearms, traps, shoulders seem to grow much better at higher rep ranges...

I totally agree bro! Not saying EVERYONES body parts grow in those same ranges, but yeah, each person is different, so you need to constantly switch things up to see what works.

MOST IMPORTANT LESSONS:

1--More workouts(no rest) = more growth

2--Sorenss = Growth

3--Supplementation is EVERYTHING!....wrong!

4--Diet is 90% of your results

5--Proper Training/Form

6--You need 3hrs. daily at the gym to see results...wrong!

Some more latr..need to go eat
