Default Off days suck.

I want to lift weights 7 days a week or until I just can't handle it anymore.

A day without lifting weights feels like it's missing something important. It's like I need my fix! I can not wait for tomorrow so I can go lift my ass off.

I love the days that I lift and I always look forward to going, but if I have an offday, there's always something else to do. Some days I really do enjoy just lazing around and relaxing. Like today. Excellent Sunday

I push it so hard in the gym I can't go more then 3 in a row without my body screaming for rest. I'm old too so that doesn't help.

That's the beauty of weight lifting, if you really 'dig deep into your soul' there is always a muscle group that's not sore

When worse comes to worse, forearms and calves!

i used to be like that... but then I started doing 2X cardio on the "off days," eat like a beast on the "off days" and then playing golf as well. It is my time to stay in touch with my other interests.

Calves don't grow, so I don't train them. Forearms look huge - never trained them in my life. I have trouble training five days a week. I overtrain too easily.

I train 5 days a week, and I usualy feel like my off days were a waste of time. Yesterday I decided it was a off day so I could do a little boxing with a freind... bad mistake I went 5 rounds and now I am beat. I didnt think it would be much but he gave me a run for my money. I am now makeing sure off days are what they are off days.

offdays are like winter. Without winter we would not know how good summer is. Without offdays we would not know how good days at the gym are.

Off days, I have to have them. I enjoy other hobbies too so it makes my off days a little easier to deal with.

Very true. Don't get me wrong, I take off days, I know I need them (hell, I feel so beat up sometimes lol), but they suck. Weight lifting is such a big part of my day. I honestly can't imagine lifting anything less than 5 days a week. I love it far too much. I shit you not, I'd go lift logs, pales full of water, and garbage cans if I had no gym access.
