Default My Benchdip the same weight as my Benchpress, is that right


Is it right for someone? Today i did bench dips, and my last set i was doing 30kg, the same weight i was benchpressing.

is my dip overpowering my bench? is my bench lagging? could it be my shoulders not being strong enough for bench? my triceps are strong?

i don't know, can someone help clear this up

same basic muscles being used, dips are kind of like another version of decline bench press.

Don't worry too much about how much you are benching or lifting overall. You are young and still growing. I would recommend slowly increasing the weights, as long as you are comfortable with the new weight. Give your body time to catch up and increase the muscle size as you continue to grow.

Yeah no big deal man, you are growing and your bench will go up. It just takes a while... but once it does.. bam it will blow up!
