MTV's True Life: I'm on Steroids

I know most of you guys are watching this. I'm so disappointed with how they portrayed roid. Granted I've never used any illegal steroid but if these guys cannot control their emotions, they do not need roids. I think they are using the roids for attention, whether it's trying to take your own life (the tylenol suicide attempt by the gay guy) or just trying to win a competition (the fight or the strip show). I think these guys need to join Ironmass and learn a few things about bodybuilding and what it's all about.

uh oh. I didn't watch it, but are you telling me they portrayed steroids as a drug abused by a bunch of emotionally unstable weirdos???

I said in the last topic, I'll say it again.... It's like MTV *wants* the government to clamp down on our supplements. Parents are watching... saying "steroids are bad mmmkay"

I think they gave a very skewed portrayal. They had one guy who obviously knew what he was doing, had his diet and workout in line wayyy ahead of time, the other two not so much. My guess is the gay guy heard he could get on mtv and started using gear just for the show.

That show was stupid. One guy on there was somewhat big but the other two were just dumb and small and didn't know what they were doing. I was hoping to see how steroids were used in the bodybuilding world more than just some dude who wanted to be bigger for a photo shoot or some guy who wanted to be a little bigger to win a strip contest @ a gay club. I was hoping to see some freaks
that were huge. Also I didn't like how they made steroids look so bad. I think if you do it right they won't kill you. The people that have problems are the ones taking more drugs than a race horse or the ones that get addicted. I like what the fighter guy said, steroids are not a drug. you don't see me getting the drugs form some bum in an alley, and it's not like they mess me up where I can't function or drive.

Unstable is just the beginning. One guy ended an engagement due to steroids, another tried to kill himself, and the last guy was just plain dumb. 6 months on cycle and no PCT.

I saw that last night...these people are complete idiots on the show. Some gay guy ordering steroids online to be shipped to his house after a lot of 'research' and them not showing up...lol. Wanting to get big in such little time. The strength gains were amazing though, but the people had nothing else to protect them. And you could probably place a report on that nutrition + place for injecting that guy in the front of the building with his pants off.

that show was freaking gay, i was pissed i thought they were going to show some real bb, only person i kinda liked was the guy in the ufc, the dude who tried to get on the cover wanted to use steroids, i me come on, you don't need steroids for that, and the gay dude should have been killed himself.

we need to write hate mail to mtv for that show,

ROTF So basically they made steroids look like heroin?

Goood maybe kids won't want to do them after watching that.
