| Fast guy in training | wondering if you guys/girls numbers are like this.... when it comes to squats i do around 250 6-8 reps on my last set but then on leg extentions i can rep out 300 3x10's{300 is the max on the machine} and on calf raises i can easily do 400 4x12. is this bad that my squat sucks compared to these other exercises or is this normal? |

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 60 | That's normal. Squats depend a lot on glute and core strength and leg extensions don't. The ROM of the calf muscles is also relatively small, and most people that I know (myself included) can do a lot more weight on calf raises than squats. Be careful doing heavy leg extensions though. They put all the stress directly on the knee joint and are much worse for your knees than any other leg exercise. I'd seriously consider dropping them and doing something like front squats instead. Front squats will put a lot more emphasis on your quads. |

Recipes: 2 Rep Power: 96 | Well concerning Leg Extensions, you should never do them heavy. I do them at 20-25 reps with a weight that allow me to hit that target range. |
