Default Injury / Injury Prevention Thread

A lot of times with training you can easily injure yourself or you could just be walking and sprain your ankle. I resently pulled my hamstring from doing heavy squats without proper warm-up sets and really paying for it.

If some of you guy's would like to share some injuries you've had and how you recovered from them please add in. I mean this thread as a way to help each other out with future/past injuries to make sure we can get back to training as fast as possible while being 100%.

left shoulder pain it sucks - impingement sydrome & bursitis. I believe i developed the injury by overtraining and using the barbell often instead of dbs. I had to avoid exercises altogether which involved overhead presses: military behind head, lat pulldown behind the neck, ext. ice PWO, rest, NSAIDs, and rotator cuff strengthening exercises. it was several weeks & months before i was somewhat "symtom free" or at least reduced. incorporating dbs has avoid helped muscle imbalances.

currently im sporting torn tendons in my right ankle (bad). im out 8-10 weeks from any sort of activity other then crutching aroung from place to place.

its funny because i got a stress fracture around september and i had gotten my cast for that taken off two weeks before the tendons injury. funny how life sucks at times.
