Default How many hours of sleep is needed?

I know for a normal person it's, what around 7-9 hours? So for someone who works out and exercises, should it be more or it doesn't matter?

because for my schedule, I can only get in about 7-8 hours of sleep while working out and doing lots of activities, while I think I need more. I was hoping to get in about 10-12 hours of sleep, but then I have no time to do homework, lol. You guys think 6-8 hours of sleep is fine for someone who works out?

8 is ok 10 is better, 12 is too much in my opinion mainly cause it is too long to go without a meal...

Ok, I guess I'm fine; because the most I can get is 8 hours of sleep and I run 5x a week, box 5x a week, weights 3x a week, along with other stuff with school.

Dam, does there have to be 24 hours in a day? Lol

I sleep more and more lately, whenever I can and nap on weekends. There isn't enough time in the day to get everything done. That's why your social life tends to go out the window when you prep for a show... or are training hard in general with a goal in mind.

Because I thought if sleeping for 10-12 hours, I would wake up on my own so I know I had exactly the amount of sleep I needed. But that's impossible for my schedule...I wake up at 5 and go to sleep at 9-10. I might be able to pull it off if I wake up later and do less cardio.

Ya of course you will. I don't get much more then that and a lot of times it's broken up. Just try to sleep longer whenever you can or take power nap's. I need to sleep more but I'm addicted to Ironmass..lol.

7 hours IMO is sub-optimal for your extreme amount of activity, A_N_91.

I'd go for 9-10 in your place, but obviously you don't have the time. How old are you?

7 hours would be a long time for me... I generally sleep around 4.. which is not really good.. but insomnia is horrible..

I have been going to sleep earlier than normal lately.. so maybe I am making up for some past lost sleep...

Have you tried using some gh releasers so that you'll at least get some decent GH from so little sleep, pj?

Well you have that going for you. Even the 40 minutes of HIIT won't do you in. Lucky mofo. Don't give up.
