Default How to eat when recovery from surgery...

So guys - I need some help.

I am having surgery tomorrow to remove pubertal gyno. I am thrilled to have it done, but here is the lowdown:

- Nothing that will get my heart rate up for 2 weeks.

- Legs + Arms Can be trained in 3 weeks.

- Back can be trained in 4.

- Chest can be trained in 5.

So, how should I eat for the first couple of weeks when I can't do cardio or train? I plan to walk for 45 minutes a day, to at least get some exercise in. I will be reducing calories and eating clean, but was wondering if anything else would be a good idea.

Thanks.

Keep to 5-6 meals a day, keep it clean, with lower carbs. You could stick to your regular training diet, just cut the calories back and clean out any junk.

Good sound advice. Can't go wrong with clean and simple.

Yeah. My diet is super-clean always.

I suppose I will lower the carbs and keep everything else about the same.

I DEFINITELY will. I wish I had more people to talk to during the process, so I would be very glad to show you guys what it looks like.

Here is a pic that shows it off pretty good:

Just an update with the after picture:

Front Shot - Just shows the results. I am barely flexing, but my it took me clenching my mouth to even to do that. I forgot how to flex my chest...WOW. The doc said the swelling will go down even more, but I am happy with the results so far:
