Anyways I ran across these bars. I like to eat a protien bar right after work when i'm going to the gym and was wondering if anyone has ever tried these. Would like to support the Armed Forces and get my carb fix before each workout. Gonna order a box once my Myoplex bars run out !

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 299 | These are pure CRAP! Your better off eating a Reeses Peanut Butter cups. They are basically sugar and fat with crappy soy protein. With only 10g of protein per bar (most of that being soy) it's a total waste. Look at the top 7 ingredents..."Corn syrup, soy protein isolate, fructose, maltodextrin, fractionated palm oil, unsweetened chocolate, dextrose" You'd have to eat 3-4 of these just to get close to what you can get in a good bar. Which would give you a whopping 1160 Cals, 36g of fat of which 20 are saturated, 600mg or sodium, 160g of carbs, and 72g of suger! If you want to support the troops send them money and save your body. That is unless diabetes and rolls of fat are your goal. |
