Gym a friend and I built

Here is the gym my best friend and I built when we heard are old one was shutting down. He and his girl fronted all the money and him and I built it. It was origanly an old storage garage. We did it all except pulmping and electric. He both do HVAC for a living so that part was easy. We added 2 restrooms with lockers and showers and a mop closet,painted, laid rubber flooring, moved equipment in, ect. Took 2.5 months from start to finish. It turned out pretty nice and since December 5 there are over 80 members. Anyway here are some pics. Trying to get ahold of the before pics

Tell you the truth, I don't know the finacial numbers. He and his girl do all that. All I know is that they need at least a 100 members to just break even.
Lots of hidden cost like city fees and permits that you don't think of. Then you got utilities, insurance, equipment, lease payment, supplies, ect.
$40 a month per person so I guess simple math at 100 people to break even is
$4000 a month for 2000sf gym

Just got back from Lohrum's Gym. Went there with Fredpo. Very nice and very clean. I wish I wouldn't have signed a 2 year contract at another gym or I would start going there. By the way Peaked_18 there is a power rack. :nosthumbs
