Default FITNESS CERTIFICATION

can anyone give me some info on where i can get a fitness cert? i need one to get a job at my school's fitness center, i checked out afaa.com but it seems a bit pricey.. should i expect any and all places to be as pricey? do i need to attend the a workshop or would just taking a test be fine? any information is greatly appreciated.

thanks.

Do you need a personal trainer's certificate? If so, check out ACE or ISSA.

I am studying for my National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) Personal Trainer Certification. It is a fantastic course that incudes text books, work books, CDRoms, on line quizzes and support, a weekend workshop and an off-site writen test. It's a great course and I feel I will be well prepared to become a Personal Trainer after I complete the work.
