Default Crappy workouts

situation: Your workout isnt going well. You are going down in weights you just arnt feeling it. Say you feel sick or weak. whatever the reason is you arnt hitting PRs or even maintaining the same weight.

Questions:
What do you guys do during this situation? Do you fight through? Do you stop?
and
What would be the best thing to do in this situation?

I would probably take a week or two off, change my diet to include more cals, and change my training protocol around to something different.

I take 2 scoops of a nitric oxide supplement and that gets me going. I normaly do not use nitric oxide, but I have one on hand for these occasions.

On days like that since I workout at home.. I will sometimes stop the workout, and workout later on in the day.. if I still am not feelin it, I will usualy just do something I don't normaly do.. for example some very high rep sets, or I'll experiment with different exercises...

Bust through it.
I actually love those days. I hate it during the workout, however in the end when I dragged my ass through it, even if I'm down a few pounds/reps but lasted for my workout I look at it as an accomplishment. Anyone can lift on good days, lifting on bad days and busting through it gives me a sense of over coming whatever it was

see, with PLing, it's different. You don't want to workout for the sake of working out. If i don't eat enough, get enough sleep, or feel wierd, i don't even enter the gym. Training to sub-protocal is just as detrimental as training to normal protocal, but without the gains.

ya.... generally skip the gym if I've got a headache or already feeling worn out.

If I lose steam in a workout I'll switch up exercises, and just make sure I get 10-12 sets in for whatever muscle I'm working. If I got lightheaded or something that drastic I'd stop all together, but otherwise I'll just bull through the rest of the workout.

I'm stubborn and once I'm in the gym I'm dead set on training my ass off and getting out of there. I suppose its a bit different for DJS Rom and BigDman since they're doing PL and the training is pretty different.

If I feel like crap I usually just go and do miscellaneous crap like cardio/forearms/rotator cuff and go home.

I am with Teamorbit. I take 2 scoops Primal NO2 30min prior to my workout. You usually know when your having an "off" day so the NO2 helps me big time. I have my training partner, my wife, talk shit to me, call me names etc. She really gets me going with the names she calls me. lol

if its just an off day, bust through, dont go for PR's just maintain that day but get the workout in and the sets and reps!
