Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 158 | It really sounds like I'm making this up, because it's just so freakin absurd... lol.... First off, I have put on a descent amount of chub since my last set of pics and have lost almost all definition, however my arms are 19" with a nice peak despite no seperation between the bi/tri, I've even begun growing an ass at this point in my weight lifting career (How's that for going against genetics? LOL). Anyway.... Since I've moved into the dorms, I have been getting nothing but comments about my size, my muscles, "how much do you bench", girls feeling my muscles, etc. I was walking through crossgates mall and the guy at the cell phone booth was like "damn bro how much you be benchin?".... I have been asked this like.... 500 times at this point, 100 being in the last 2 weeks lol. I said "Nah man I don't lift weights" and he wouldn't believe me lol.... Do you guys get this?? The very first thing people do when they meet me now is make note of my muscles (What a great conversation piece eh?). I hung out with a girl I like last weekend and she kept touching my muscles (I'm still in danger of the frienz zone though...). They call me Jacked Pat, and they all want to go lift weights with me. But.... as far as I'm concerned I'm chubby. :P Yeah so. Rant off. I get kinda frustrated with the constant "how much do you bench?" comment. Cos it's like "wtf"

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 41 | It's all about how much they think you can bench! Bro I would be glad if I recieved all those comments in a day to day basis, that would be a huge confidence booster. So if I were you I would praise all the comments you get about your size and just ignore the guys who ask you about your bench.

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 60 | Non-lifters only know about "benching", so that's the only question they can think to ask when they come across a lifter. It's a big compliment, so enjoy the attention. It has to be motivating to know that people are noticing your hard work. The only people who notice and comment on my hard work are on this forum... LOL. The biggest issue I have is that I don't even get noticed by Mrs. Madman; she's about as supportive and motivating as a swift kick to the apple bag.

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 4 | Dude love it. 3 years of college ball got me pretty damn jacked and since I was bald with a gotee I got the "Goldberg comments. Damn I wish I never started a career I would have been 265 easy now. But the best thing to do is make friends with a couple of girls and when you go out to the club hang out with them and their friends will come a running to you. If you hang out with the guys the girls will feel too intimidated

| IronMass Vip | If someone asks you how much you bench, it's just a conversation starter, they don't know what to ask, that's all they know. They mean it as a compliment, but they don't realize how often you must hear that, and don't realize it's an annoyance to you. I used to get that all the time about being Goth, because I had black hair. Everyone just called me the goth chick, all the time, everywhere. Or they called me Morticia. I went back to my natural brown, and I've been a redhead since April, and people still ask me if I'm goth or wiccan or anything else in the stereotypical gothic genre. I just say it depends on how you define goth. If wearing a lot of black and being pale = gothic, then yes, I am. I define it as an attitude towards life, generally expressed through clothing and music, but it's more about your philosophies and outlook. Therefore, I do not view myself as Gothic. But, whether you view yourself as a weightlifter or as a chubby college student, everyone else seems to view you as a bodybuilder, regardless of your personal standards. Maybe you could just take it to heart as a compliment, and be happy with it.
