Better workouts with a shaved head?

I don't know if it's just me or not... but.....

I've kept my hair short for a good 10 years or so, I have very thick wirey hair that is completely unmanagable so I keep it shaved. If I let it grow in too much (a quarter inch about), not only do I start to feel fat, my workouts suffer, strength goes down, and I lose all workout intensity. On the flip side, if I workout with a freshly shaved head I get a wicked pump and great intensity!

Weird eh? :shifty:

I've had my head shaved for about 3 years now and i dont think i'll ever let it grow back out again, its a pain in the ass to do every day... and besides you look bigger without hair.

I've had long hair before (not like pony-tail long or anything) and it never really bothered me when I lifted except when it occassionally got in my eyes. I now go pretty short with my hair.

Speakinng of which...where are those clippers?

Just had mine done short tonight, I don't like my hair too long either for the same reasons you pointed out, and I feel younger.

Ive had mine shaved for a couple of years now, it is a little cooler and more comfortable when working out I must admit.

I've been shaving my head for almost 10 years. The longest I let it go is 2-3 days when I'm slummin' and bummin'. Otherwise, I take a razor to it every day. I recently shaved off my mustache and goatee also. I love the bald head/shaved face look.

So far I've noticed awesome increases on the big 3 since shaving my head j/k

Well Im not going bald, but at 23 I already have enough gray hair people point it out to me if I dont keep it really short. My grandfather on my mothers side had a full head of grey/white hair by the time he was 30, I think Im on the same track :scared1:

Hey bro.... I don't shave mine to the bone but I cut it as short as clippers with no attachment will cut it.. about 1/8th inch cause it feels great. It isn't the best look for me but i don't really care it is nice to jump out of the shower give it a quick wipe, and my hair is dry... a bottle of shampo lasts about 3 years..
