Iron Mass members -

First off, let me apologize on behalf of the Iron Mass staff for the recent downtime with the site.

As you may have noticed we have had alot of problems with the server staying up the last couple of weeks.

I notified the hosting service and this morning at around 1:00AM PST they switched us over to a different server.

We should not be experiencing the problems we've had with the site being down for periods at a time throughout the day.

Please note that as a result of the server change earlier this morning you might be missing a few posts if you had posted around the time the server was switched over.

Here is a copy of the email we got from the hosting service:

Sat 10/15/2005 12:46 AM

Hi,

As requested your account has been moved to
a different server. Your new IP address is **********.

I\'m going to hold off on disabling your old
account on host** for 1 hour in order to
minimize the downtime due to DNS caching, and
I won\'t delete the account on the old server
for another 48 hours in order to give you time
to check over the site in it\'s new location
and confirm that everything copied over and is
working properly. If you have any trouble please
let us know right away.

It\'s my hope that this move works out to be a
good one and that your new server yields more
stable and reliable performance than the prior
one. If you need anything else please let me
know. Thank you for using *******!

We here at Iron Mass appreciate your membership and if you have any concerns or experience any problems with server down time after this switch, please let us know.
