Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 12 | Ok, me and a mate always get into a arguement about his lifting. You see, he lifts with moderate weight, but for higher reps, say 18-20reps. And he says that his strength is increasing because he can do the same weight but more reps. I say to him, increase the weight and try for lower weights. He says, but i am still getting stronger cos i can do more reps. Now i always get stuck cos i have no comeback and i change the subject. so can someone help me with a comeback, i mean, if he can do more reps, is he still getting stronger even though he hasn't increased weight? what can i say to combat this?
