Does anyone here wanna compete as a strongman or PLer in the near future? (This includes comebacks. *ahem* powerman :p) Just wondering. I may compete when I get to my 20s, but I would be nowhere near as strong as needed right now. ![]() MOP

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 203 | You guys crack me up! Actually, if I can find a drug free meet locally in Colorado, I will compete this winter. I am bulking so well right now and my strength is climbing rapidly so as long as I can stay healthy and not get hurt then its a done deal. Probably no squats though. Knees can't take it anymore. Hopefully I can find a DL and BP only meet. They are pretty popular. I know with a suit that I can DL a 600 at under 240 Lbs bw. I did a 545 DL last Nov. without training for a meet. No suit, just ate big and was training big. Of course my wife will bring the digital camera.

| Mushroom Cloud Laying.... | My first love was powerlifting... I was going to compete last summer, but got a really bad case of mono. I was out of lifting for 3 months. I was going to set the state novice bench press record at 148. I was getting 225 raw, with shirt I was going for 250+. But anyway, I couldn't get my strength back at 148, so I took up bodybuilding (which I was a big fan for a long time).
