Top Powerlifters in BBING..

I believe that many top powerlifters look freaky and are some of the scariest looking men on the face of the planet, however, if you put them in a bodybuilding contest against the pros, they would suck! We have a couple of amazing powerlifers who have great physiques and amazing density, thickness+ mass, but they don't have the years of hypertrophy training that the top bodybuilders have so it wouldn't be much of a match. The bodybuilders would destroy the powerlifters.

Any other questions similar to these? bring them on....

Actually, don't powerlifters dominate the sport when/if they choose to move into bodybuilding? I actually think DC wrote that in a post.

Ronnie was a powerlifter. And Franco was too.

I would not be too sure about that. I believe Franco lifted heavy, and Ronnie dabbled in the sport, but I wouldn't say they were full fledged powerlifters at any time.

Matt Duvall and Johnnie Jackson are the only powerlifters I know that switched sides.

On the other hand, there are a few (rare) powerlifters with bodybuilder looking bodies. I can't really remmember which ones in particular, since I don't watch the pros very often.

Right, exactly, but Ronnie wasn't a top powerlifter before going bodybuilding. You are correct though when you say that many of the top bodybuilders are former powerlifters.
