Recipes: 1 Rep Power: 12 | ![]() Here is where I put the bar. This feels good for me, because I get less leaning forward or back when I go into the hole, however it hurts my biceps a bit I must say. Now I was told I could get more weight up if I widened my grip more, however I cant place the bar in my middle back if I do that, because it will slide out. If I put the bar 2 inches higher, I feel off balanced. I find that for doing olympic style squats, putting it on my traps is great, but for power squats, I feel more stable and powerful with it there. Any advice? As a challenge, I ended up unracking 405 for a PR attempt for a suited high box last night and I got a bit unbalanced, ended up leaning too far forward, and ended up missing the lift. I got 385 however. Thanks.

Recipes: 1 Rep Power: 12 | Ill try and get wider on my hands I guess. Unlike most people, I don't like having it on my traps because I feel that its harder to balance my core, whereas if its lower, I have a lower center of gravity and I can get more stabilization.

| FDU Devils Weightlifter | I personally rest mine on my shoulder blades for my squats (except ATG thats on traps) and keep my hands out a big wide. I find if I go to wide, the bar rests on my elbows to, so don't go that wide! and listen to peaked to :-D
