Talking Got Me A Titan Katana Bench Shirt and a Titan Centurion squat suit!

My powerlifting coach gave me a Titan Katana bench shirt along with a Titan Centurion squat suit.I really like both of them and notice the difference when I work out with them. Not just the pain, lol. But I get a better spring with a looser bench shirt than i do a smaller one.Im not sure why.Eventually my coach wants me in a smaller shirt and suit.I think its because with the bigger one i can get the sleeves up farther but with the tighter one I can't.Who else has these and what tips do yall have on using them?Just anything that would help me get use to it and get the most out of it in the meets. Thanks

great to hear you got the suits man!

The centurion is a great suite. Personally, i've never tried on the katana, but I know it is a great product as well. The fact is, you just need to practice in them. It may not be the tightness (or lack there of) in the suit making any difference directly. Like you said, the ability for a suit to be put on in a different manner may have a greater effect on your specific weakness. Tightness is only one factor. The big factor i believe in play here is the area in which the suite is aiding your bench. The looser suite may hit aid your weakness better because it may strain in a more effective spot. The only real way to get more efficient in any suite it to practice in it. I'm sure, as you have noticed already, that squating in a suite and wraps for the first time is much easier than benching. Benching in a suite is much more of a technical skill/art. Knowing how to use your suite is everything. Some suites are tricep oriented, and some are more chest. Knowing your specific weakness and what your suit provides is key.

I'm sure ur coach knows what is going on. Just practice in it. Just remember: you bench is as strong as your lockout and as fast as your explosion of the bottom.
