| Fast guy in training | Went to max the big 3 today and had some hella good results which look like this: Squat - 335x1 {+80lb} Bench - 275x1 {+15lbs} DL - 335x1 {-46lbs} Total = 945lbs Kinda bummed about the DL because that is usually my strongest lift, but I guess the squats really took there toll on my legs. I attempted 365 two times but could only get it to my shins. Plus this was the first time I have ever done all 3 in the same day. But I was hella pumped about the squat. The weight seemed so light, I was thinking about going up another 10lbs but I decided to end on a high note. |

consider deadlifting sumo... based on the strength in your squat.

| FDU Devils Weightlifter | sumo for competition is only good if you got bad levers for conventional. Even so, I still think Conventional is the best to go, as Sumo is hard to get heavy weights off the floor.

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 113 | actually, many lifters believe the opposite to be true. Besides the world record holders, almost all the top DLers have a sumo stance. 75% of the lifters at collegiate nationals did. The reason: non juicers can gain more on both their squat and deadlift by pulling sumo.

| FDU Devils Weightlifter | yeah, but look at that, the record holders, the guys pulling the most weight are pulling conventional. now why would they be doing that?

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 113 | don't get me wrong guys... I LIFT CONVENTIONAL. But with such a strong squat (the original poster), i believe he should give sumo a try. I'm only speaking from what I see: The top NATURAL lifters in the world are lifting sumo.
