Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 668 | I've come up with the idea of an IronMass radio, i'm not positive how i'm going to work everything out yet, but it is most likely it will be a .pl and it'll play in winamp. What do you guys think of this? It will be essentially exclusively metal with a bit of rock, but if a lot of guys wish for there to be more rap, or pop or something an alternate station could be arranged, but we'd have a lot more to work out if that were the case. |

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 668 | Right on, i'll post a random list of the types of mp3's I have on my pc, see what you guys think. I suppose i'd be the only disc jocky to start things off, but any volunteers i'll consider (don't have to be ironmass staff, infact its encouraged that you aren't, perhaps you'll get some special rights for being a dj ).Atreyu - Right side of the Bed Avenged Sevenfold - Chapter Four Coal Chamber - Fiend Kidneythieves - Black Bullet Lamb of God - Laid to Rest Deftones - Dai the Flu Blinded Colony - Contagious Sin By Night - Behind in Silence System of a Down - Deer Dance In This Day - Shoes for the walking dead Dope - Pig Society Mudvayne - Not Falling Megadeth - Countdown to Extinction HeavensDust - Alive Deadstar Assembly - Send Me An Angel Sevendust - Terminator Carcass - Forensic Clinicism In Flames - Touch of Red Disturbed - Rise Mind Shelter - Phrana Megadeth - Truth be told Holotype - Curses & Blessings Crossbreed - Release Me RA - Rectifier Marilyn Manson - Ka-Boom Ka-Boom Lamb of God - Vigil Rammstein - Mein Teil Prong - Test Sevendust - Seasons How does some of that sound? Not sure if you guys have heard it all, hehe i'm a metal junky man.. I've bought literally over 900 cds legally from a music store called HMV.. They love me over there.. heh. Anyway, I wanted to point something out for all of those people that say metal is just random screaming and has no complexity to it.. Have a look at Dimmu Borgir's lyrics. http://darklyrics.com/d/dimmuborgir.html The first couple albums are norweigan, but have a look at any of the english songs. Also, when you're done reading some of that lyrics you're probably going to think dimmu borgir is a pretty ****ed up band that is made up of satanists (like it seems with many metal bands) but this is far from the case, take my word for it Dimmu Borgir aren't, and don't support satanism. |

| Soldier In Progress | DJ's will in fact have special privliges, and we'll hopefully have a way so we can play through Luke's playlist for those of us who don't have 14,000 some odd MP3's. This is a freaking aweosme idea, we'll have this all setup by July if all goes well.

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 299 | That sounds really cool. I hope you can make it work. Would be sweet to listen to while surfing the site. I like heavy stuff but not no much of the screaming stuff. I like bands like Tool, System of a Down, Chevelle, Story of the Year, Nonpoint, Soil, Flaw, Sevendust, Ministry, etc.. also hardcore techno and metal. Basically anything high energy so I want to kill the iron. :p |
