If you've experienced any errors saying that there is no website configured at this address, it is a service host issue. There are efforts being made to speak to a service represenitive to find out whats with the frequency of down time and to seek a resolution.

Oh, and by the way unforunatly this has reduced the amount of time i've had to code (as it has over the last few days) so it isn't looking too likely it'll be totally done tonight (also thanks to making it a lot more complex, I don't want to rush out a shitty product) but definitly within the next few days max. depending on my free time hopefully tomorow.

Dan and I have been repeatedly emailing our host for information as to WHY it's been going down, to very ltittle avail. today server was down due to someone abusing resources, I don't know, I'm looking into it.

I don't know about you guys, but I haven't been able to get on for most of the day today. This morning was spotty, but this afternoon it has been down almost the entire afternoon.

There probabley just trying to hook Sholiz into expensive package upgrades..lol. "Oh sure sir we can eliminate all the problems if you just upgrade to V2.00 it's only 10,000 a month but you'll thank us for it!" :nutshot:

It was down do to a "user" issue EME but they have been in denial that there is an on a daily basis.

I have sent a number of emails the last one was to ask if anyone worked there that even knows how to verify server loads for a given time frame.

Actually they finally stated if it continues they will move the site to a dif server.

Well, I ran benchmarks on the server and it is quite lossy. Like I suggested to Sholiz, he should e-mail them threatening to go to a better host unless there is some kind of reperation money given, or a % of the montly fee dropped. Otherwise I'm not willing to deal with a shitty host.

It's not so much a threat going to get the point across as it is something on their end, HostRocket is one of the best hosts around -- hands down.

I don't want to leave them and will continue giving them lots of my business (with 8 new sites starting SOON), so I'd like to resolve this more thna anything.

Honestly,

I wouldn't try pushing the new site to much, I really want to see it. But do it slowly, no need to push you guys so hard. Just take time and get it done.

I have been taking time on it. I've spent more than 260 hours combined on it. Which is over 10 days straight assuming it was in one sitting. It is very near completion (well, not even close but near the level I want it to be at by the time it is public, there are many great things in the works that will be hidden until they are completely done). So just because it will be launched in the following days, doesn't mean thats the finished product. It's going to work right, and be good just not the final edition. Every few days for quite a while more and more new things will be being added.

Just so you know, there is a good chance (the front end) of the site will be down for up to even a few hours at some point today. As I can't have the public acessing it and may be forced to shut it down for a while today while I transfer the new site over.
