article submission for main site?

Hey -

Read the article secion, read the article FAQ - strill not clear on how I can toss you guys an article if you want it.

I had to write an article for my last ISSA certification, and I'm about to submit it to them. I chose creatine as the topic.

It's pretty basic information; about 1500 words on use and dosing, how to make it work, etc. - it's not hardcore, but neither is creatine, for that matter. I cited a bunch of studies.....

If you guys want, you're more welcome to peruse it, see if you want then How do I submit this sucker?

Just make the thread, they'll approve it in the forum.

For the main site, register an account (I believe you get passed or not not quiet sure) and you just copy and paste it when you can make it and it will apprear.

I can just throw the whole text into an article in the forum article section? I'll check it out.

I know our fearles leaders are jonesing for some more information material and educational info to offer on the main site, so might as well toss in what I have. Most of the stuff I write isn't really applicable to large audiences, but this one happens to be totally watered down for the general publc.

Yeah, you won't see it because an admin or mod I believe approves it.

Zach, i'd appreciate that very much. As peaked said, just register an account on the main site, then go to submit an article and you can write it up and submit it and it'll appear on the main site. I will read it over to accept or decline it, and then from there it'll either be not added or added (i'm sure i'll accept, thats more or less to prevent abuse).

I'd like to encourage everyone to submit their writing, or write new ones for the main site. The author will be noted so you don't think we're just trying to steal your works.

Yeah exactly, in fact it is really encouraged, I would simply put the article up myself with your permission, but thats not how it works.. Thats the beauty of what I wrote, you put the article up yourself and it will always give you credit for it, and it is a nice way to get your writing seen on the main page on a site that gets a lot of traffic and stuff.

EDIT: I don't mean to say that there is anything wrong with posting articles in the forums, or doing both either!

Mods and Admin can accept articles too right? So PM'ing a Mod.. or the Admin staff would do the trick.

I figure, I had to write the thing for my last cert - might as well get some mileage out of it.
